Laymen will often argue that running is all about repetition. The more your run, the more you can run. As simple as that. By breathing properly you can increase your maximum running range by no small amount. This is not a competition
Running is one of the oldest athletic disciplines, but in your case it is not a competition. Adjust your running pace and goals to your own possibilities. After a while, as you progress, feel free to move your goal just a bit further. The only person you are trying to out-achieve and impress here is you. Running just two steps more than you did yesterday is always going to be a success.

As you can see, running is not as simple thing as it might seem at first. It would be foolish to expect that something that brings such a high reward comes completely risk-free.
